Prepare your mind and body for birth and beyond in Illume’s Pre Natal Yoga class. This safe and supportive environment will help you prepare for your delivery and motherhood by building your stamina, strength and confidence though fluid movement and focused breath work. Emphasis will be placed on posture, alignment, pelvic floor toning, muscle strength, stability, stretching and relaxation. Each class will begin with a communal check in, and end with a delicious savasana catered to your needs. Throughout the duration of six weeks, you will gain a stronger understanding and appreciation of your Pre Natal body, feel empowered with various breath and labour positions, and have the opportunity to connect with other Mama’s in your community. Any trimester is welcome, with the support of your Doctor, Nurse Practitioner or Midwife. Please bring a mat, towel, water, and pillow. Additional props will be supplied. Registration is highly recommend to secure your spot, drop in’s are welcome.
